Rotating

A new IP is assigned on every request. Best for scraping, SERP collection, broad data gathering.

Sticky

The same IP is held for the lifetime of a session token. TTL configurable via ttl-<minutes>.

When to pick residential

  • Targets actively block datacenter ranges
  • You need to appear as a normal home user (ad verification, social media automation)
  • Aggressive anti-bot defences (Cloudflare, PerimeterX, DataDome)
  • Need country, state, city, or ASN-level targeting
For raw speed on targets that don’t discriminate by IP type, Datacenter is faster per request.
